Usually limited, although tenderness, swelling, tingling or temporary altered sensation can occur.
Energy placement requires anatomical knowledge. Patients with certain implants, active disease or unsuitable tissue characteristics may not be candidates.

Does HIFU replace a facelift?+
No. It can provide modest tightening in selected patients but cannot reproduce surgical repositioning.
